The magnificent The Fargo Railroad Co.
come to Glasgow for a one-off show along with local Americana troubadours James Edwyn and the Borrowed Band
The two bands played the Americana Music Association UK
showcase together in London this year. After bonding over beer and beer-ds (see what I did there?) they are delighted to hit the stage together once again in the legendary Macsorley's Music Bar.
THE FARGO RAILROAD CO.
The Fargo Railroad co. are a southern rock / americana band from Sheffield. Building a strong local fan base, their shows are dynamic, soulful and rousing. Founded in 2013, the four piece use a strong southern influenced sound as a vehicle for their songs of bar rooms, broken relationships and a little bit of gospel.

JAMES EDWYN & THE BORROWED BAND
Glasgow sextet James Edwyn & The Borrowed Band stumbled on to the scene 2013, their formation the result of a series of unlikely coincidences… Their music is a mix of alt-country, indie/folk rock and roots orientated Americana.
High Fences, the band’s 2017 follow up to their 2014 debut The Tower, sees a big leap forward for the band. The 10-track L.P. captures a bigger, harder edged sound without the band losing their trademark focus on finely honed arrangement and melody. The band’s first two singles from the album, Passing San Ysidro and Pushing Statues have both enjoyed significant radio play across the BBC and other radio networks.
